Skills@work
On March 12, the first SKILLS@WORK CHALLENGE in Cyprus will take place.
The Skills@Work Challenge is an international project of The British Council and Junior Achievement-Young Enterprise Europe (JA-YE Europe) and is taking place in 13 countries in Europe this year. This is a one-day event where 100 students aged 15-18 from across the country come together in order to find a solution to a unique challenge. They will have just 4 hours to shape their ideas. They will be working with other students whom they have not met before. They will have access to the internet and adult experts.
In the afternoon, they will present their solutions (products/services/innovations) to a high-level jury. The winning team will go to the international Skills@Work Challenge in Belgrade, Serbia in April; a great opportunity to test problem-solving skills with peers from multiple countries. |
